V-Day Eve
So. Right now it is a whole five and a half hours away from officially being the oh so wonderfully over-sold, over-rated day where everyone has one day out of the whole year to express that they have feelings for someone. That they love someone. I know, I know. I sound bitter. I promise I'm not. I think there's just a lot of other days in the year to share that. That might actually work out better for you because they aren't days where the world expects you to show it. You show it simply because that's how you feel about someone.
I'm not going to share my experiences of V-day. I would however, love (hehe), to hear other people's stories! Sharing is caring, right? I'd love to hear the good and the bad. Preferably nothing too terrible. Though if something terrible DID happen, I am truly sorry.
I don't honestly have a lot to say about this foreboding/wonderful day. My goal is to spread some extra love and cheer. I have no plans of doing anything special myself. I would rather let other people who are feeling down, know there is still some good in the world. If you don't have any plans, maybe find something to do help out others. Hand out roses randomly on the street, send a coworker who is single some flowers or candy or a teddy bear, all anonymously. Smile at people for a change. Anything small is better than nothing and you never know the lives it could change. Ripples in the water start out with a single small impact.
So on that note, I hope everyone has a wonderful night tonight and a safe and lovely day tomorrow! :)
love.
